Double Opt-In

Double Opt-In is a more strict way of getting consent for email marketing. In this method, after a user gives their email address, they are sent a confirmation email. The user is only added to the email list after they click a link in the confirmation email to verify their email address and confirm their interest.

This method ensures a higher quality email list as it verifies each email address and confirms the user’s interest. It also provides stronger legal coverage as it has clear evidence of consent. However, it adds an extra step to the process which can deter some users and slow down the growth of the email list.
