There’s so much to learn about email marketing and sometimes it can be tricky to find the best resources. I often find that podcasts are the best sources of insight and inspiration when I’m trying to increase my knowledge about a certain topic. Yet, with so many out there, how do you separate the good from the bad?

Well, that’s exactly why I’ve created this list of the eight top email marketing podcasts for 2024. My picks are:

  1. Email Einstein
  2. The Future of Email
  3. That InboxArmy Podcast
  4. Email Never Sleeps
  5. The Email Marketing Show
  6. Email’s Not Dead
  7. Easy Email Marketing with Yael Keon
  8. Everything Email Podcast with Ken Countess

OK, let’s get started!

8 Best Email Marketing Podcasts

Below, I’ve listed the eight best email marketing podcasts for 2024. They all have plenty to offer to aspiring email marketers and seasoned pros alike.

1. Email Einstein

Email Einstein podcast by Andriy Boychuk and Vira Sadlak

Podcast Frequency: Weekly

The Email Einstein podcast is produced by Flowium. Hosted by Andriy Boychuk and Vira Sadlak, it focuses on email marketing for eCommerce businesses.

I like this podcast because each episode pinpoints a specific topic and explores it in depth. For example, one episode focuses on email marketing strategies to increase sales around Mother’s Day. Another discusses how to create email campaigns for nonprofit organizations.

The vibe of this email marketing podcast is laid-back and informal. I’m very busy, so I appreciate the fact that the episodes tend to be around 30 minutes long. This means you can gain expert knowledge in short bursts while you’re commuting or hitting the gym.

2. The Future of Email

Podcast Frequency: Varies

Matthew Dunn, founder of Campaign Genius, is the host of The Future of Email. In this podcast (which I have been a guest on in the past), the guests are experts in specific elements of email marketing. For example, one of the recent guests was Melanie Balke, the CEO and founder of The Email Marketers.

The podcast covers all aspects of email marketing, including segmentation, automation, email deliverability, and practical advice on creating innovative email marketing strategies.

While the release schedule can be a little erratic (trust me, I get it as a podcast host myself), the episodes always bring value. I’d recommend it whether you’re a beginner or expert email marketing strategist.

3. That InboxArmy Podcast

Podcast frequency: Every two weeks

Of course I’m going to feature our very own That InboxArmy Podcast. My co-host and colleague Garin Hobbs, and I bring a different expert guest for each episode. Our focus is to get the “nuts and bolts” answers from the folks who live in these worlds every day.

For instance, we recently welcomed Brian Riback of Labrador to discuss everything you need to know about preparing for email personalization. Be sure to check out the episode if that sounds interesting to you.

We try to keep the tone lighthearted and accessible and break down complex topics so beginners and pros alike can get value. For instance, we recently welcomed Brian Riback of Labrador to discuss everything you need to know about preparing for email personalization.

4. Email Never Sleeps with Andrew Kordek

Podcast Frequency: Varies

Andrew Kordek is long-tenured email marketer who fired up Email Never Sleeps a few years ago to discuss the email topics that interest him most. (Yes, I’ve been a guest this past season.)

What I love most about the podcast is the way Andrew weaves in his extensive knowledge from his years of being both a practitioner and an agency executive to tell amazing stories and dive deep into relevant email marketing topics. (Plus, Andrew is “good people.”)

5. The Email Marketing Show

Email marketing show by Rob and Kennedy

Podcast Frequency: Weekly

This podcast is undoubtedly one of the most unique email marketing podcasts around. The two hosts, from Email Marketing Heroes, are simply known as Rob and Kennedy. Their conversations are fun, engaging, and often a little quirky.

I really like the playful tone of this pod, but that’s not to say they don’t have insightful discussions about everything to do with email marketing. The tone is designed to cut through complicated topics and demystify processes that might seem confusing to beginners.

One of the reasons it’s so valuable is that it delves into email marketing strategies for B2B and B2C. So, it’s suited to businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Plus, if you’d rather read what Rob and Kennedy have to say, you can check out their weekly blog posts where they break down all of the key info from that week’s episode.

Best Places To Listen:

6. Email’s Not Dead

Podcast Frequency: Varies

The Email’s Not Dead podcast from Sinch Mailgun is hosted by Eric Trinidad and Jonathon Torres, two technical account managers at the company.

The aim of the pod is to change the way we think about email marketing and help marketers move beyond old ways of operating that might not yield results anymore.

Some episodes consist of the two hosts in deep conversation about all things email marketing. For others, they have highly experienced guests who cover a wide range of topics.

Some of my favorite recent episodes have been:

  • How we got into email and how to keep it diverse with Jay Oram of ActionRocket – Link
  • “The big email standards update from Yahoo and Gmail with Marcel Becker of Yahoo” – Link
  • “What is M3AAWG and how can you get involved?” – Link

As you can see, they deal with a diverse array of subjects and speak to some very qualified guests. I particularly like the fact they cover recent events that have an impact on email marketing, and give you advice on how you can adapt.

Best Places To Listen:

7. Easy Email Marketing With Yael Keon

Easy Email Marketing with Yael Keon

Podcast Frequency: Twice per month

This email marketing podcast is primarily designed to give practical advice to beginners about getting the basics right. It covers topics like automation, segmentation, and how to choose the right email marketing software for your business.

If you’re an expert email marketer, this might not be the best pod for you. Yet, I still pick up pearls of wisdom from it regularly and it’s always interesting to get different perspectives on topics you know well already.

If you’re just starting out as an email marketing strategist, you can learn how to build a successful campaign from the ground up. As well as the topics I mentioned above, Yael Keon regularly discusses things like:

  • Marketing and lead generation.
  • Turning email subscribers into paying customers.
  • Building a high-quality email list.
  • Analysis of various ESPs such as Mailchimp, ConvertKit, and MailerLite.

8. Everything Email Podcast With Ken Countess

Everything Email Podcast With Ken Countess

Podcast Frequency: Weekly

The email marketing podcast for those in a hurry. Each episode of the Everything Email Podcast is around four to seven minutes long, and the idea is to provide easily digestible advice about the most pressing issues in the world of email marketing.

I sometimes listen to three or four episodes in a row, but you can consume it in any way you like. In less than five minutes a pop, I get some great advice, for example, on certain phrases to avoid to make sure my emails don’t end up in the spam folder.
